The EU-funded AtlantECO project aims to develop and apply a novel, unifying framework that provides knowledge-based resources for a better understanding and management of the Atlantic Ocean and its ecosystem services. Focus areas include: microbiomes, plastic and the plastisphere, and seascape connectivity.
EBB is a European Marine Biological Resource Centre (EMBRC) project funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area. EBB’s main goal is to facilitate sustainable access to marine biodiversity, its associated data, and extractable products for local and international academia and industry users, and to incentivise biodiversity conservation in coastal ecosystems by promoting compliance with Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) regulations derived from the Nagoya Protocol.
EOSC-Life brings together the 13 life science research infrastructures (LS RIs) to create an open collaborative space for digital biology. It is a joint response to the challenge of analysing and reusing the prodigious amounts of data produced by life sciences.
ASSEMBLE Plus is a Horizon 2020-funded project which brings together 32 marine stations and institutes. Coordinated by EMBRC, the project provides research and networking opportunities to scientists in Europe and beyond to enhance marine biology research.
The ERIC Forum Implementation Project is a Horizon 2020 project which brings together 20 established European Research Infrastructure Consortia (ERICs) and 3 ERICs in preparation to strengthen their coordination and enhance their collaborations. The strategic approach of the ERIC Forum will contribute to address critical challenges and develop best practices.
EMBRedES is a Network project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MCINN) and the State Research Agency (AEI) that aims to provide the Spanish national node of the EMBRC with the tools to ensure its adequate management and coordination, to establish the mechanisms for the incorporation of other Spanish entities to the node, to reinforce its tech-transfer and communication capacities and to foster collaboration with other Spanish entities participating in ERICs.
